About 20% of the population has a disability that often hinders the use of the internet. That is 3,4 million Dutch people. With a digitally accessible website you ensure that you are also there for this group of people.

In a world where more and more is happening online, these people are often left out. Think texts with little contrast make it difficult for the visually impaired. Videos without subtitles are not suitable for people with a hearing impairment. An image that has no alt text added cannot be read by the screen reader. In order to remove these barriers, it is important that government agencies and companies become aware of digiaccessibility.

With digi-accessible design and development, the accessibility of a website is considered from the start. Can you click without a mouse? Can you navigate the website in multiple ways? Do images have alt text and videos have subtitles? Is the code set up in a way that screen readers can handle it well?
