Does the Red Cross need an introduction? As an international organisation, the Red Cross helps in 192 people in need land with food, water, shelter and medical aid. We have seen many developments in the charitable landscape in recent years, in which large TV shows or donation campaigns have less effect. The various digital channels such as the website, webshop and app of the Red Cross are becoming all the more important.

Focus on content, performance and stability
Solution
For this complex project, we first carried out a complete inventory of all pages, their findability within the various search engines, content blocks, technical modules and other components. Based on this inventory, the various activities have been divided between the Red Cross and Social Brothers team. These components have been combined with a data study, with the aim of using the available data to improve the findability of the new website.
For the renewed website, it was decided to build a WordPress platform from scratch. This new platform is fully focused on adaptability, performance and findability. Within this platform, the various modules have been gradually developed and rolled out. This made these activities manageable for both the Red Cross and our team. Finally, several training courses were carried out for the Red Cross teams to make the management of the content as easy as possible.
