Realize a clear website structure
Challenge
The VGCt website contains a lot of content that is relevant for the members, therapists affiliated with the trade association. However, these members could not always find the correct information on the website. As a result, the website was not always experienced as user-friendly. The challenge for this website is therefore to set up a clear structure that makes it easier to navigate around the website.
Focus on three separate websites
Solution
Based on the customer journey, a new structure has been set up aimed at the members of the VGCt. Three separate websites have been chosen: the basic website, a supervisor platform and a knowledge base† This separation makes it easier to find the right content.
Some of the content is protected and only available to members. For this we have set up a link with the member system. For the ease of use of the administrators, a link has also been made between the basic website and the knowledge base with regard to news items. With one placement, they appear on both sites.
Facts & figures
- Almost 300 items in the database
- 3 separate websites developed
- Bounce rate of 33% (average is 40-60%)
