SPAR University offers healthy and sustainable food in areas of universities and colleges through a Grab & Go formula. SPAR University is a regular client of Social Brothers. That is why they also approached us to set up a recruitment campaign to bring in new employees for SPAR University and SPAR City's.

Get in direct contact with the right target groups
Challenge
After two years of lockdown, SPAR was looking for extra staff to work for both the SPAR City's and the SPAR University's. They want to appeal to a young target group, such as schoolchildren and students. They mainly offer them part-time (side) jobs, but also learn-work trajectories. For us, the challenge lies in reaching the right people within a tight labor market.

Solution
With a social media first campaign via Facebook and Instagram, we managed to appeal to the young target group with the slogan 'Go work dude'. Visuals and videos were used to respond to recognizable situations, such as having to eat pasta with a can of tomato sauce due to lack of money. To lower the threshold to apply, we have realized a WhatsApp application desk and integrated it with Trengo. This allowed interested parties to WhatsApp directly about the vacancies. No annoying application procedures, but immediate results!
